DC Rebirth starts in just a few months! The events of Rebirth begin in the DC special, DC Rebirth #1 (Out May 25th), which is a spectacular 80 page book with a price tag of $2.99, but, that’s not the best news! DC Comics has made the promise that all Rebirth books will a whopping $2.99 and most titles will also ship twice monthly. With the sticker price of $2.99 and shipping twice monthly this means you’ll be getting two books for the price of one Marvel or Image book, which is a fairly interesting marketing strategy. DC Universe: Rebirth goes on sale on June 1st, and will continue and improve stories from New 52 but will also be renumber some series to their original numbering, like with Detective Comics starting with issue #934.

Batman – Written by superstar writer, Tom King (Grayson, The Omega Men, and Futurama), and illustrated by legendary artist, David Finch ( Forever Evil, Wonder Woman, and Batman: The Dark Knight). All-Star Batman: Batman writer Scott Snyder continues his run on The Caped Crusader with an all new ongoing series mixing Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Defiant Ones (what’s not to love about that?!) featuring an all star cast of artist including John Romita Jr., Jock, and Declan Shalvey just to name a few. Snyder has teased that he’s ready to completely redo Two-Face and make him terrifying and a modern take on a literary classic, Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde. All Star Batman #1 hits our shelf in August!
Supergirl: Written by Steve Orlando (Midnighter) and drawn by Brian Ching ( Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic), this series features Kara working with the DEO ( Department of Extraterrestrial Operations) and juggling her life as a “normal” high school student but also being a superhero. Kara will find it harder and harder to make the right decisions. Be sure to pick up this issue starting on September 7th!
Aquaman: Written by acclaimed writer Dan Abnett and artist Brad Walker comes the next chapter in Aquaman. “The Drowning” which kicks off with a ferocious story between Aquaman and his arch nemesis Black Manta. Black Manta is setting into motion a plan to destroy Aquaman, his family, and everything he believes in. Be sure to pick up Aquaman #1 starting on June 8th, and this book will be hitting on shelves twice a month!
Wonder Woman: Praised writer Greg Rucka returns to Wonder Woman along side artists Liam Sharp, Nicola Scott and Paulo Siqueria. Wonder Woman will be two separate stories in one, the first story being “The Lies” and the second story being “Wonder Woman: Year One.” The first story starts with Diana learning that many “truths” that she has believed in for so long, have turned out to be lies, leading her to search for the truth. “Wonder Woman: Year One” will be a unique retelling of Wonder Woman’s origin story. Be sure to add this book to your pull or come in and pick it up on June 24th!
Trinity: Writer and artist Francis Manupul (The Flash, Detective Comics and Justice League: Darkseid War) brings us his take on the DC Trinity, including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Manupul mentions that Wonder Woman will have a large role in Trinity and that she will be seen as the glue that holds Batman and Superman together. Be sure to pick up Trinity #1 when it hits shelves on August 10th!
